Need Advice for trading my 98 SC400 for a 97 SC300 5SPD
Sup guys I am trying to trade my 98 SC400 VVT-I 139K for a 97 SC300 5SPD 85K. My problem is that I am trying to sell my car for $10,000 and the sc300 is for sale at $8,775 being that the car is being sold from a dealer so I know they are trying to make money not lose money. I'm not sure how much I should ask in return. I was also looking to sell my car and buy a 95 Supra BLK/BLK Auto NA/T with a T60 for $12,000. I am not too sure which I should go for, but selling my sc400 is taking longer than I thought it would. I haven't seen the sc300 or supra in person, but the sc300 looks so much cleaner in the pics. My goal is to have 350rwhp.

To be honest, it is probably taking so long because your car is overpriced. In todays market, you are not getting $10k for your car. Not trying to be rude, just being honest... I'm not saying it isn't worth $10k, I am saying that people aren't paying that much for them right now... Especially when you can pick up a newer GS400 for less...

Damn, I've been trying to find someone to trade my '99 400 for their '97 5spd, and I can't find anyone!! No one even wants to do a straight trade! 
I say go for the SC, even more so if they give u any amount of cash on top!

If I had a 97 5sp I would trade for a 98-00 sc400 in a heartbeat.
I never got the deal with the 97 5sp rareness (120 yay?).. only like the (driver) knows it is rare while driving the car on the road, Thats like... being the smartest kid with down syndrome? Everyone else thinks its just a 5sp with a 97+ conversion unless told or sees your gauge cluster but even after that you STILL look like every other sc out there.
But with the 98-00. you get that 290hp
You want to gain HP I would consider running OBD1 pre 96 year cars for turbo n such less headaches
Same thing with supras hate em looks wise. Only thing good is the engine!
If just comes down to if you want Manual or Auto imo. I would keep the sc400 and buy a pre 96 5sp sc300 to turbo.
