I don't know if it's enough for your needs, but you can 're-form" (cough bend cough) it around a bit as needed.

and if anyone asks, just blame it on the previous owner of the car

it needs to be out of my front driver side fender to make way for 3.5 inch intercooler piping coming off my veilside replica intake manifold.

im thinking i might just get a really small trans cooler and run some ss lines up to it infront of the radiator.

cut the stock "cooler" aka a bent line and get a real one. for anything that makes you keep your rpm high and steady aka roadracing or drifting a PS cooler is a must. for street driving you can get away without one.

drifiting my car in pretty much stock form i have had issues with PS fluid boiling over. cooler coming this year for me.

Damn - I was just about to make a thread on this too.

It seems a 1JZ in SC400,this is one of the problems,..albeit a Small one.
The hard lines where it comes up towards the tower are Diff (which could be cut and re-flared) obviously because the Res and pump are on the other side.
Sourced the lower rack lines that i needed from an SC300 to get part of the problem solved.

I know its a heavy beast, but with the vac assist I can't imagine I really need this either.
Will def get in the way of FMIC piping somewhat,..but just don't want to have to get the lines from someone else to complete the Chain.

Next Question is:
What about the port on the rack?? just Plug It?

I was able to fit my 3" i/c pipe without too much hassle and room to spare so I'm sure you can make it work with the 3.5" pipe..but I'm planning on using an aftermarket cooler later on

are you talking about the cooler in the front driver side area? underneath the driver headlight? if so, i believe that is actually the oil cooler.

I had the same problem with couple of my sc's. I jus bent the line out of the way. It sits on the ic piping tho. Tip for the guys swapping jz engines in uz chasis. You will have an extra cooler ( hydro fan cooler), you can use this as a tranny or ps cooler.

wrong its power steering for sure! 1jz/2jz has a built in oil cooler on the side of the block into the oil filter housing.

yea that's my mistake, thought of a 400. the tube and fin cooler we have there is for the hydro fan. when i think cooler, i think tube/fin or solid bar... don't usually think of just piping.
