Default fuel door open trigger wire....??

Does anyone know where the wire is that triggers the fuel door to open???

I got my alarm/autostart installed. I forgot to tell them to set 1 aux to open the fuel door lid. I got them to do the trunk only.

Can some one let me know of the wire so I can hook it up? Also does anyone have this set on their alarm?

why would you want to have your unit pop your gas tank door for you? the wire for the trigger is right next to the trunk trigger wire.

seems like a waste of time to do it though. you have a button on the bottom of the dash and worst case scenario it stops working you have a release lever in the trunk.

am i missing something? lol

Im just trying to get the most out my alarm. I have 4 auxilary functions. not being used. Also when I pump gas I take my keys with me. Sometimes, I forget to pop the lid, and have to get back in the car. If I notice I forgot to pop it I could do it with my alarm fob while Im paying/selecting gas.

But honestly, your 100 percent right about it being not needed.lol
