Single vs Dual exhaust?

general speaking, youll get better performance out of a single due to the lower restriction, but you dont get the balanced look and appeal of the dual exhaust. Unless your turbocharged(GTE or NA-T) stick with the duals..if your straight performance minded and plan on boosting later, go single.

performance is all relative to pipe size
a single 4in will not flow as much as a dual 3in
for an SC i like duals as it looks better if you do
not fill in the opening
my future set up will consist of single 4in DP/MP
splitting into dual 3in back from the MP
cost wise its cheaper to do a single 4in for sure
and you save weight too as a plus but going duals
so i will just make the car abit more stronger to move
the extra weight easier

Wouldn't the "Single nets better performance" argument only hold true for a SC300? It would seem on a SC4 that a true dual with an X/H pipe setup would perform better than dumping all 8 cylinders into one pipe...
