after polishing the lip do you have to seal it or anything by putting clear coat? I've never sanded/polished wheels.. Pretty skeptical of doing it myself..

Don't be skeptical, it's actually VERY simple. Make sure your lips are very clean and wet-sand them with 1500 grit wet-sand paper and follow up with 2000 grit.
I put a thin grey scotch brite in my sandpaper so that I wouldn't leave a bunch of finger marks and then sanded away. I then polished them by hand with some Blue Magic polish. I was very impressed with the finish

Hell, I even removed the curb rash with a DA sander and 220 before I wet-sanded them. It's all pretty straight forward.
