Default My Type 03 wheel restoration for my SC3

So, I drove my SC3 during the winter for about 2 months and got a crapload of corrosion on my wheels. I sanded my wheels with 1500 and then 2000 and got somewhat of a nice finish, I then proceeded to sand the centers while I was at it and am at somewhat of a crossroads. I can't decide whether or not to paint the centers a bright silver metallic or a light gun-metal grey. Please let me know what you guys think.

Thanks!!!!

Either color would look good. Are you planning on powder-coating or just painting them?

Murdoc,
I'm just going to paint them at the bodyshop.

BSC300TT,
Tires are 285/30/18 BF Goodrich Gforce TA/KD's.

BigGreen,
I wet sanded the lips with 1500 grit and followed up with 2000 grit sandpaper.
I then polished the lips with an aluminum polish

I'm thinking of going with the bright silver. I need to make up my mind asap.
Btw, the car is onyx black.

The darker color will make the rims look smaller, I say go silver

Keep them silver, always been a fan of those wheels. You might also consider taking them apart and having the lips dipped in chrome, might make them a little easier to maintain.
