iam about to replace my factory rims on my sc4, cause they r going bad. just wondering if anyone bought a SET of ebay rims for like 600, either 18" or 19", how good and reliable r them? thanks

In before someone posts that broken Rota wheel pic without knowing the true story.....anyway I think a few people are running the XXR's with no issues. If you can go more than $600 you can probably find some deals on memoryfab, rbwheels. Check out the Z and G forums and also zilvia.net also.

I saw a set of Saleen mustang wheels on Ebay for $600.00 w/tires a few days ago. They look pretty good on an SC if your looking for respectable wheels, on a budget

if you want a set of "cheap" wheels, just get the Supra TT wheels...or go with some XXR's if you dont mind the weight of them.

Yes XXR 962's! Daily driven on them for almost 2 yrs and still in perfect condition minus some curb damage. Paid less than $600 back then.

I think rotas are good just dont abuse them, on nasoic bunch of track sti's run them but anyways.

XXR are good too its like 600-800 for rims+ tires so its decent price.

Buying brand new is a lot more expensive. I got a set of 18s with 2 brand new tires for $100.

i agree with others on a supra or nissan/infiniti wheels, but i will also say check out mustang rims.. I had a set of saleen replica's on one of my SC's and loved them.. Personally i wouldnt be against throwing a set of chrome FR500's or Deep dish cobra R's on my current SC.. I just like my chrome Supra wheels since i can stay cheap with 17" tires right now lol.

Im currently running XXR 18" also and have them for 2+ years with no problems
(weight is not a major issue if u check the specs on a few volks n works out their weights are VERY close to the same weight as a few of the XXRs)

Ill be upgrading soon tho to 19" JDM wheels as I prefer FORGED wheel quaility.

DO NOT buy wheels from RBwheels ill rather run COPY then buy rims from them they refurbish and resell used/damaged JDM wheels and I have seen a few get sold and fell apart due to poor refurishing.

kinda hard to generalize "cheap ebay wheels" That being said, the guys above covered most of your less expensive brands. Id look at XXR, Stern, or even some MB Battles.
