Default Need a carb number for any short ram intake.

I don't have a carb number for my ebay intake. I need one so I can give it to the smog guy and just tell him I lost the sticker.

I don't believe the numbers are unique or anything so your not giving anything up.

Ya people don't do anything to control government and this is what you get. Cant even modify your own property even if it meets or exceeds government standards.

Next time i get it smogged ill have to get the RFID chip scanned in my arm

Any I would really like to take my car to the smog place tomorrow. If anyone could confirm that number for me that would be great.

Got to love some peoples ethics.

How do you know your ebay intake meets/exceeds government standards?

Sources?

the intake replaces a rubber tube with a straighter metal tube.... and uses a better filter.

So I used common sense as my source.

This is not a matter if ethics. Im not hurting any one by using a intake that makes me get better mpg and more horsepower.

Well this work just fine i printed out the d-476-3.pdf and took it in. Car passed with eBay intake.

I am just wondering how AEM's or Injen's aluminum piping would make it better or worse then any other aluminum tube bent the same way?
I understand no name aluminum tubing isn't tested nor do they dish out money to the government to let them be "CARB" legal making them cost less, but why would it change emissions with they were to use the same type of filter?

I'm just commenting on what he said.

Come up with all the government conspiracy reasoning you want. Doesn't change the fact that what he wants to do it unethical.

I would really like to argue with you but I don't want to waste my time. Its hard to get through to be people with this type of view point.

Ill just leave you with this...

Explain to yourself how what I did hurt or bothered someone.

You "hurt" the businesses that invested the time and money towards creating the intake and getting it C.A.R.B. legal. Not only by running an intake that stole their design, but now stealing their stickers/numbers and trying to pass it off.

You know, ETHICS
