Unless I'm mistaken, which has happened once or twice in my life, Carfax no longer does unlimited reports. The last time I ordered it was $44.99 for five, $34.99 for one. So I wish you luck getting someone to come up off of one of those precious reports. Maybe someone bought their car already and has a couple left, but I used mine VERY sparingly. Autocheck is cheaper, but not as much info IMO.

Clublexus rules dictate that asking for carfax reports is not allowed.

Carfax reports aren't conclusive at all anyway. Too many people seem to think that if the carfax is clear, then the car is OK. Big mistake!! Lots of stuff never makes it onto those reports. You're far better off getting a trusted mechanic to go over the car for mechanical, and a body shop to give look for body work that's been done.

Indeed. I had a Honda Accord that was slammed into by a chick driving a Chevy Sprint with hand controls. My mom bough that car brand new in 91, and it's been in my family ever since. Carfax is clean as a whistle, no accidents but it says there have been 6 owners
