I don't own an Sc but my IS didn't come with this mirro(2001). Im in the process of doing this swap. Here is what i have gotten so far. Idk if its the same set up for the SC or not. Credit goes to JasonM4444 on my.is.
Hmm..your car wasn't equipped with an electro chromic center mirror? Well, I haven't installed one, but I can tell you how and what you'll need to wire one up. You will need to buy a BUSS Mini-Add-a-Circuit(available at most auto stores) which you will put in the 10A ECU-IG fuse slot in the driverside fuse kick panel and about 10' of #16AWG wire. This will give you the switched circuit you need to power the mirror. The whole center mirror unit only requires a positive and ground(negative). There's a wire off this device that you will need to extend up behind the dash, under the A pillar moldings, and across the headliner to the center mirror. You will also need to run a ground wire from anywhere there's a clean chassis/bolt to the center mirror. There is a 4 pin connector on those mirrors, the middle two terminals go to side mirrors equipped with electro chromic dimming. With the connector tab facing up, positive goes on the far right and negative goes on the far left. That's it. Here's the device I'm talking about. It simply adds a circuit on top of the fuse slot you're putting it in.
