No you really cant, the matter thats floating around in your tranny fluid pan is very fine..

i got some solenoids too..... but im just hoping that maybe that fresh fluid filter and seafoam will get it allo out

it might, but i honestly wouldnt trust anything in my tranny. Its not a hard task i would just replace them. Did you get a o/d light flashing?

yeah its got the light flashing intermittent tho , after i flushed it yesterday and put the seafoam in it went away and then came back ........ im going to change the filter one more time and flush it again and let you know if that works. if not ill just drop the pan and change the solenoids.

most likely if its throwing the o/d light its almost surely the solenoids..

is there any way to test the solenoid to check if its bad i have code 63 and i have the number 2 solenoid out how can i check it ? continuity etc? thanks

as far as i know. theres no way to test the solenoids individually. What did the code register as?

code 63 solenoid number 2 pulled it out today it appeared clean and it was connected....... jumped it with a battery with wires and it clicked and opened and closed......... so im clueless should i just throw in another number 2 solenoid and see if it fixes it? help me

the situation i faced was that i never got a check engine light, the most i got was the o/d light flashing. Since i had the pan off i decided to replace all four solenoids. So my recommendation, i would just replace it. You can try cleaning it a bit with brake cleaner.. But if it was me i would replace.

im going to i guess im just really mad that i cant figure out what it is ..... ill change the solenoid number 2 and then figure out whats causing it when i get the old solenoid out and find out whats wrong with it ill post back with an answer around monday hopefully thanks for all the help
