Wink Hi Im Banikid and this is my SC300

Yesterday I pick up a 96 Sc300 with 119,401 miles for 3.5k. Jumped on this car because they are rare around here with low miles. They car does have a few small problems but I know its cause of the age of the car.

Imma list the problems so I can get some help ( Im also searching the forums)

-Passenger Window not working. Fuse?
-Radio is also not working. Also thinking its the fuse.
-Check engine light cause of the 02 sensor.
-Interior is in not the best shape but thats from normal wear and tear. Just want to know how much new front seats will cost or to be redone.
-Pretty much thats its theres not alot. I know some of you guys have alot more so I feel lucky lol

Future Plans
-Tint the windows 35% sides 20% rear.
- Body work
- New Exhaust system. A nice roar nothing crazy.
- I want to drop it a bit but my city is known as pothole hell so not that sure bout this one.
-New rims and tires

Im 19 and so my budget is a little tight. But I would really like to get ideas from you guys here. Especially the Black Onyx members. O and Thanks for looking

Very nice catch, Coilovers (800$) a nice set of wheels (1500) and the car would look nuts already. it would be at a nice stand point to let your wallet catch up =P

Thanks. I would love to do those 2 things first. But wheels most likely wont come this summer. Coilovers has a high chance of coming. I would like to fix the interior first. I like have very clean interior. But who knows I might find a deal on coilovers before the interior work.

Nice pickup. Sounds like the door might need a new regulator, if the fuse blew I beleive your driverside would be affected also. Radio sounds like a fuse. Does it power ON? If it does, it can be the factory amp. if you need a factory stereo I have one for sale, without wire harness.
If your on a budget and wanna drop, I would go for springs.

Fix everything motor wise and functional wise first.. should be your priority.

Then: Budget Build.
Tint
HIDs
supra TT supension (little drop better handling looks better)
$1000-1500 rims check classifieds for good deals on used rims

I wouldnt put exhaust on a car motor thats not going be built. You can just buy some nice Exhaust Tip and weld them on $40-80 bucks!

so for another $2000~ you will have a good looking sc =) (only thing that is expensive are rims)

The body looks a lil' rough. That would be first on my list. Great opportunity to upgrade to aftermarket!

Welcome!

Search around, I bet your jaw will drop like mine did when I was new.

Welcome to CL and nice pickup.

I'd focus on maintenance and making it ride like new before anything if your budget allows.

Thnxs guys. Yea I meant to put in maintenance but usually that what everybody does first so didint bother. The body needs a lil work. I'll try and take more pics if it stops raining. Also taking it to my dads mechanic early next week so he can check it out.

Lol I'll remove that Team Nissan sticker right away. Well after it stops raining so dam much.
