On a turbo car anything below 11:4 or 11:6 is considered rich above is lean hope that helps.

Air/Fuel ratio mixture is just that, ratio between air and fuel. For a complete burn, ideally, the A/F ratio would be 14.7 parts air to 1 part fuel, or just 14.7. So this means for every 14.7 parts of air that the engine intakes, 1 part of fuel is used to completely use up the oxygen, or 14.7 parts air is needed to completely burn 1 part fuel.

On NA applications, for max power, it'd be ideal to have ~13.5, however, with engines out now that have DI, leaner can be obtained. On boosted applications, the goal is around ~11.5, better safe than sorry.

you're prolly just doubting yourself stoiche meters are pretty self explanitory. you want the needle in the middle somewhere ~14.1( = : )1 (NOT REAL MATH) but you get the point

lean= too little fuel
rich= too much fuel
if the needle bounces around alot you might need new sensors or a new gauge lol. hope that helps ps. the meter reads voltage from your 02 sensor .... so..... make sure its all connected properly
