Default Bought a SC300 and a Stage II Toyomoto today =)

I just got:

OBD I - SC300 Black/Tan
Stage II Toyomoto Kit

Finally some real horses to the SC.

450RWHP here I come

BTW I still have the SC400 too!

Any advise on the car and turboing would be appreciated.

Cool I got my second Club Lexus symbol for posting today as well. Now I have one for each Lexus SC.

It needs to be installed. I like to know how everything works so I will install it myself as much as possible.

I have to check up the differences between the stage. But the head gasket comes into mind - I don't recall if 6 injectors are with it. The head will have to come off. So just about the entire top of the motor will be removed. Both manifolds of course, I'd imagine the the distributor needs to come off, maybe the cooling fan if it is in the way. Does it come with a downpipe?

Also, I'm not sure it the stock exhaust will mate. And you definitely do not want to drive with it for long, so I imagine you have some piping to go out the back. That toyo manifold should bolt right up, I don't know about head studs and things, but you may want to make sure they are in good condition all around. Bolt the turbo onto the manifold to torque spec with high quality fasteners there too (and everywhere else). I've seen pics with a wastegate and flange that is installed bofre the turbo, not sure about this one. I'm also not sure about the compressor side intake and outlet to throttle - I beleive you've your intake running to the open inlet compressor side. The outlet air runs to the intercooler through to the throttle body. Fuel dilevery, headgasket, and electricals are a mystery to me.

What kind of fuel delivery steps are there with the kit? Like a bigger pump? FPR? Any controllers?

Maybe the other guys have more detailed info? Good luck.
