So you don't want to spend 30 minutes taking it apart? I'd say the majority of people doing these types of mods are not running the stock radio.

Why don't you make a contribution to the forums and do a little work and tell us what the bulbs are and where to get them?

Tell you what, I'm going to do the cluster in my daughters SC4 some time within the next month. I'll try to poke into the radio at that time and tell you what I find.

I took it apart, took about 2 minutes once I had the radio out of the car. 13 bulbs for the buttons, soldered to the board.
Dont know how you would change the lcd display color though there are no bulbs on or behind it like on the climate control.

So can I buy any size led bulbs and solder them in there and have it work?
These are small bulbs I dont know a measurement or brightness

Shouldnt it be a smaller bulb size from the 3 we twisted onto the climate control to change the buttons since there are 13 I imagine that would be too bright. Maybe the same size as the power buttons for climate control and radio?

You'll want to know the voltage going into the bulbs before getting a LED.

Sorry, I don't know w/o looking, but I imagine there must be bulbs for the LCD.
