I would say I'm pretty attached to mine. I'm always cleaning it or buying stuff for it. I would never sell my car unless it was for a Supra, another SC, or a C5 Corvette and even then I'd get another SC just like it. Chances are that I'll keep it forever though.

I'm keeping it forever unless someone totals it. Its got far too much sentimental value to me to ever let it go. Its also acts as stress relief to go for a drive.

All the cars I've driven before have been "passed down" to me. I drove a honda civic sedan for a long time, then I got rearended on the freeway and that car was totaled. After that, a Rav4 was "passed down" to me while my parents bought a BMW X3. My brother just started driving, so I "passed down" the Rav4 to him and bought my current car (in my sig).

This might not be the first car I've driven, but it's MY first car because I bought it with my own money. It has it's fair share of problems, but nothing that will make me wanna get rid of it. Needless to say, I'm pretty attached to this car.

Got my SC just under a year before I turned 16.

I will probably have it as long as I'm alive.

This SC is my first car/project of any sort. I'm attached to it right now. I would like to say I would keep it for a long time. Sooner or later though, as with anything with anyone, there will be a point where you get tired with this platform and either move on/start over/ or get out of the game.

I can almost guarantee, even the people who say they will hang on to it forever, that we will get rid of this car sooner or later.

Its just the nature of the game.


*edit* btw, when I say "this" car, I mean the very car that we own. We might buy a newer model, different color, etc..

i bought my first SC while i was in high school 5 years go, it got totaled recently but i have sense replaced it with an identical SC both in year and color.

First car i ever bought was my current sc400. still got my mustang which was handed down to me but i LOOOOVE my sc. My only regret... was not finding a job when i was 10 and buying it sooner! hahahah

i have had 2 lexus ls400's and an audi s4 but i still love my sc.. when i had to chose to sell my audi or sc.. i sold the audi.. even though it was the older car.. im super attached to my sc..
