listen to hyjaxx, she knows what she is talking about.

Getrag ftw
Another thing is if you wanted to just get a GTE Head, build your bottom and build the head.
If DD 67mm Dual Denso Pumps
Weekend Warrior 70mm+ Single External Aeromotive A1000 Single pump or alternative

If you are making a drag car out of it then auto and alot of other fun things.

i did a GTE swap,if i were you with 10k i would
aristo gte 2k, mapecu2 600, wiring mod from dr tweak about 500, or youc an do it your self which takes a bit but if you dont know what your doing they dont try it, v160 3000-4000k plus clutch and stuff, then do a ebay manifold with a decent turbo fmic boost controller ECT, its possible o do all that with 10k, ditch the twins right away, jdm twins are garbage and mine died pretty soon. you can learn everything from supraforums or just google, just depends on power goals, my car is my DD so i keep it around 400-500

its pretty easy bro, and with your budget if your doing all the work your self its totally obtainable. with a 67mm turbo or so. shouldn't need anything crazy.
just a good tune and upgraded fuel.

the v-160 is a wise choice but the other options are great too depending on what your doing. coming from a person that doesn't have the money if I could go v160 I would. I have a R154 I hate the way these shift I rebuilt mine with all marlin parts available (washer, bearing plate, #2shift fork) and new bearing and retainer and it still feels crappy even though I've tried all the different oils out there same result.... Im going to try something new that I haven't seen on here and thats a t56 swap so far I just have an adapter plate and since im now a full time student money is tight hopefully by the end of the summer ill have some results on here with pics and such and if it works out good ill copy the plate and put it up for sale. (t56 doesn't require differential gearing change = save money)

Hyjaxx, not sure I'd agree with "needing" a tilton. There's a whole range of options available. Personally I'm on an HKS triple with slave mod and love it. Otherwise great breakdown for the OP!

So 10g's and only wanting like 500hp You should be able to cover all fields then.

-Fuel System-
PTE Injectors 65lb http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/prod/041-0650
Inline 6 Performance Dual Feed Fuel Rail http://www.inline6performance.com/b6furakifor9.html
Aeromotive FPR
Dual Denso Fuel Pumps
Some SS Braided Line would be needed to run another line to fuel rail.

-Engine-
GTE Aristo Swap
Dr. Tweak Harness Adaption
*Will need to swap engine motor mounts and upper and lower oil pans along with ground harness.
Garrett DBB GT3582R
CXRacing or ebay Divided Manifold, have it inspected by a shop to see if it should be rewelded.
Summitracing or Jegs for SS Braided Oil Lines
Tial BOV
Tial Wastegate
Ebay for a Universal Intercooler kit should be $265, cut all the piping yourself make alignment lines and have a shop weld all the aluminum
You should have a pipe or 2 left over to make a intake pipe and get a K&N Filter 7" Long
Full 3" Exhaust or XSPower 3" to 4" Downpipe and Midpipe
For the Head HLS 264's

I Gotta goto work, I'll have more for you once i'm back.

You can cut cost on the fuel system by upgrading to a full USDM GTE fuel system- 550cc injectors, USDM rail, a single denso pump. This will support 500hp.

On the turbo, the GT35R is awesome, I'd also consider the GT4088r.

There's a guy in the northwest running a 600whp MKIV on pump+water/meth and otherwise stock fuel system with a GT4088R on a cast manifold. The 600 is a safe tune at full timing, and has wiggle room for around 650 but why push it. Bottom line is the GTE fuel system is plug and play and fairly robust for your power goals!
