I say go V160 from the jump if you can, there are deals to be found on them you just have to look and be ready to buy when you see a good deal. I had W58 then built R154 and even with built R I was still not too confident with it. I have a Getrag now and will be slapping gears and driving the car the way it was built to ha ha. If you get a r154 make sure it's built using Marlin Crawler parts.

Really- he's telling the truth. If you can swing it the V160 is MUCH better and if you get the high hp itch you won't have to replace the tranny again. I wouldn't go with anything other than Chevy transmissions or the Getrag so it was kind of backwards for me to recommend the 154 to you. My bad Dawg

As for the fuel system debate- I'll throw my 2 cents in. I have the dual feed custom made to fit 14mm injectors...mistake. If I could do it over I'd do a single feed 11mm with a reg off the other end. Simplicity=magic.

I would also look at HKS and OS Giken clutches as options as well- the dual disc OS Gikens have had nothing but great reviews, and I can personally speak to the triple plate HKS. If you're looking at multi plate, skip RPS offerings they've had serious QC issues. RPS's single discs are great but a little rough. Hold the power reliably all day though

Inline 6 Performance Dual Feed Fuel Rail http://www.inline6performance.com/b6furakifor9.html

Some SS Braided Line would be needed to run another line to fuel rail.
-Engine-
GTE Aristo Swap
Dr. Tweak Harness Adaption
*Will need to swap engine motor mounts and upper and lower oil pans along with ground harness.
Garrett DBB GT3582R
CXRacing or ebay Divided Manifold, have it inspected by a shop to see if it should be rewelded.
Summitracing or Jegs for SS Braided Oil Lines
Tial BOV
Tial Wastegate
Ebay for a Universal Intercooler kit should be $265, cut all the piping yourself make alignment lines and have a shop weld all the aluminum
You should have a pipe or 2 left over to make a intake pipe and get a K&N Filter 7" Long
Full 3" Exhaust or XSPower 3" to 4" Downpipe and Midpipe
