FROM THIS (97 S14):

TO THIS (09 Summer Pic, new 2010 reveal soon):

The 240 was fun it had a blacktop SR and a HKS 2540 turbo, I always liked SC's because I knew I could make one into a disguised Supra lol.......so sold 240 in 2003 and bought my SC in 2004. Now that I look at both pics, I realize that I cracked front bumper around the same area ha ha.

Im an all around car person, but been into 240's since way before I could drive....

I have owned more than 10 s14's from stock 5spd,ka-T,RB w/big single....I dont even remember some of the cars I have owned over the past 8 years .I always liked 240's because of the light weight and great handling. When suspension is modified right they will out perform cars that cost double or triple there value when done right. The only draw back to me was the fact that the car is to small and not very comfortable as a daily driver,Also cant forget the fact that the 240 community has gone to **** in the past few years,It aint what it used to be....you see more beat up 240's then nice ones.....In conclusion IMO it makes a great weekend car or track car to have some fun with and I will most defenitely build a black on black Koukie S14 in the near future

I always like the 97+ SC's,but never took the dive....I came in to the SC scene because I always wanted to drop in a toyota gte motor in a s14,but after much thought it was much more feasble for me to just get a SC300 and drop in a gte motor. They are great cars and built like tanks....Now only draw backs are they handle like a boat in stock form, weigh as much as tank, parts are expensive compared to 240's.....example

LSD's go for $800-$1200 :ee2:
Stock steering wheels can go for as much as $400
many electrical and sensor issues

But oh well....you have to expect things like this when owning a luxury cruiser that retailed for over $50k new at one point

I have owned 8 SC's since....both 300/400's

I can go on and on about these cars, but Ill keep it short

Went through 4 hatches and 1 coupe. Loved the coupe but I really just wanted an sc for the longest time and I got this soarer for such a good price, I would have been an idiot to pass it up

Pics of the coupe.

And the Soarer.

i've had a couple s13s and s14s and they were super easy to work on and cheap to build. i've always liked the SC and it probably wouldve been my first car if i didnt pick up a FC at the time. i eventually ended up with the SC because its reliable, practical, luxurious, and rare (5speed at least). plus 240s are a dime a dozen now. the one car i really miss is my s2000 though

well ive had many cars myself.
-300zx(tt)
-2 mk3 supras(1 gte swap)
-1 suby wagon
-1 mitsu
-1 celica(86)
-1 prelude(89)
-x2 lexus (sold a ls400,and have a sc400).

iam an import tuner and it's what i do. my current project(s). are my 89 240sx/rb20det swap. and my jz donor sc400(94). everyone so far is right as the s13/14 is cheaper and lighter. but comfortable,i think it is(i have s14 seats).

the sc is a boat. and taking out the seats is as far as iam going for now for weight reduction(we will see how much it weighs with the jz motor swap).

but heres pics of the car iam working on right now(as i type).

yummi rb. started life as a single smaller ka. with a blown head for $700.00 not a spec of rust and 89 thousand miles. drove to arkansas to pick it up.

and how it sits today.. will get some pics later. did a clutch and tlc.

but heres the lex.
