I'm somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to detail, and here's how my pearl came out ![Crying](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/Peace.gif)
I paid $2,500 for my paintjob + kit install.
Anyways, I went back today to talk to them and see what we could work out. I also needed a quote for rolling and possibly pulling my fenders. They quoted me $300 for the 2 front fenders for the roll. $600 for the two rear fenders for the roll and pull. $300 for the front bumper cause it was cracked..
.. and an additional $300 for respraying the entire car. Total $1500.
This shop can do quality work, I can guarantee that, but they messed up on my car and I messed up by paying for it. I want your opinion on this guys, what should I do?

the thing is that they would almost have to paint the whole car again because its pearl so that everthing matches and plus pearl coats are little more expensive than base clear..Now for there mistakes you have to make your best judgment on taking the car back to that shop or just finding another shop that meets your requirements..

I think that I will take my chances with that shop again, for $1500 for new paint and all the fender work is not all that bad considering the total would come to $4000. I'm probably not going to pay them if the work is crap though

Pearl is hard to shoot. I can see the uneven parts.. but for the price you payed i would go back and ask them to fix it if it cost a lil more and you trust them to do it. My whole car repainted was $3500

I have no idea what base it is..
Anyways, if they're repainting the car, should I just ask them to do the Starfire Pearl? That way they can stick to the paint codes and do it accordingly?

the fender roll - LMAO
You are in QC, odds are you in probably in MTL or something. There are tons of competent shops out there that will do it for less.
Or your best option is to do a quick read on 'how to' roll the fenders on the SC and go to one of the shops that rents these for 50$/day and DIY it.
AFTER take it to the shop so they can look over the arches, if you mess and crack some paint by accident.

Wow that paint job really sucks. Sorry, that probably didn't help, but if I were you I'd complain about it and try and get your money back. For $2500 you got ripped off big time. My opinion about it when you're spending $1000+, then you're moving beyond the low-budget paintjob range. I know some people would say $2500 isn't alot, but for $2500 you should expect it to look better than that and last at least 5-10 years. Now of course if you want the paintjob to look as good as when it came out of the factory, then yeah expect a $4000+ job.
Once again, complain! Talk to the manager or whoever. For what they gave you, you could probably go to Maaco or Scheib and get a better looking paint job for 1/4 the cost.
