mortal, you don't think it will hold a couple more on the stock HG? i've always heard you should be okay pushing 10 or less psi on the stock HG..

Just one, this is the second, of course the first one didn't last long when the boost was upped. The second is still going strong, but under a lot less boost. The w58 will make the 450 on the dyno, but keeping it together is the tricky part. Ill get a r154 eventually..

Thanks for the shout out Jad! Your car performed very well and made great power for not even having a boost controller hooked up!!!
For what its worth, we've run plenty of cars on stock head gaskets up to 12-14psi on pump with an EMS and careful tuning.
Also, we have plenty of customers running 450whp on w58's without issue.

Yep, going to do another one next week with a W58. Part of it is how you drive it, part of it is luck of the draw. Anything under 400 and it isn't worth worrying about, 400-450 be "conscious", and past that it is luck of the draw.
