I have a 1992 sc400
with 230 000 km on the clock.
I just noticed this a week ago and its been with me ever since then. When I get in the car and the car "jiggles" I can hear a "squeak" coming from the rear left wheel well. I have not pinpointed the cause but I THINK its the spring.
I was just wondering about getting aftermarket springs. Does anyone know who makes them? How much they are? I would like a stiff set which makes the car feel like its on rails![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
And are the new model of Supra springs swappable?
Thank you!
Michael

Cheap fix -
Spray some Silicon Spray onto the sway bar bushings, or the pinpointed location of the sqeak - pushing the car up and down may make the trouble spot make some squeak squeak noise ..... Noisy sway bar bushings are a common problem among SC's. Worth a try, at least!

Yeah i've heard about the sway bar bushings ![Frown](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Is it very costly to replace them?
And if I have to replace that one, do I have to replace all 4 at the same time?

Not that difficult to replace and not that expensive to purchase new bushings... From Lexus they run under $10 each. Installing them involves unbolting the bar...pushing the old one out and hammering in the new one. Hope this helps..
