just regap your plugs to whatever it says for stock
and if it still doesn't idle right or run well then close the gap up a little more until it feels right close it by .002 each time if doesnt feel correct

Guys, I've gotta say this sounds like pure rubbish to me. I expect the heat range of a given plug relative to its application in a given engine is by far the most significant factor in regards to any heat issue. There's a lot of myth and snake oil surrounding plugs. Don't buy into the hype; for the most part, a plug is a plug is a plug!
