Default trying to find a deck kit for lexus sc 300

yes im trying to find a deck kit for a new system i got off some one i tryed going to best buy and they didnt have them i was just wondering if they even make them and were id b able to get one

holy crap that double din is awesome!! before that all I ever saw were custom mounts. definitely ordering one

Apparently for heavier double dins , the brackets start to bend cause they're made of plastic

Yeah, for DD units use the factory bracket to brace the stereo then use the Metra kit over the factory bracket to mount it. Theres a DYI thread in the STEREO/ALARM section that shows you how..

Wow...CL is becoming nicer. TYSONKID, you are lucky, normally you get flamed your first few posts if you don't use the search feature. The metra kit is pretty sweet, I wish i had one, I made my own and its not so pretty. I recomend for any stereo to use metal brackets to bolt it down. Some just use pockets, but if you have a few braces it deters from theft!!

Definitely use the metra kit. Its a good kit.

Both of them look pretty good, especially the single din with extra space to put stuff lol

hey something i've been meaning to ask... for you doodz that have actually had a play with the metra kit...


...will they fit RHD jdm soarer do u think? the kit looks nice n flush... but will it suit a RHD soarer?

The Metra kit is awesome! I just installed a double din Pioneer and the kit looks great. I wish it was a little bit shinier to match my climate control. If you by the double din one, make sure to use the factory brackets like others have stated. Here's a pic of mine:
