Use a step bit and it's not so hard, but I can't truly say that because Matt was drilling the holes while I was doing something else. He was done very quickly using the step bits though.

Its easy with a step bit. Honestly, it was 10 min worth of work to get the master cyl in... probably 30 min of work to get the clutch pedal to mate to the master cyl since the area is so tight.

Yea, big thanks to Matt and Jake. Now if my cooling system would stop making me so nervous I could really have some fun with it, especially with the new Bilstein/Hypercoil setup.

*Edited. I should have read everything new.

Would you happen to have measurements and the angles you used to get the new shifter welded? How do the height and throw of the shifter feel as it is now?

It's definitely not a short shifter, but the throw is fine. It feels good. I'll have to get some measurements of it when I finally take it out to insulate the area where the tailshaft comes up through the tunnel.
