Default How much is a supercharger kit worth to you?

If I were to complete a supercharger kit for the SC400 that would have the following characteristics:

Full exhaust from the headers to mufflers
Supercharger with mounting bracket
Intercooler and piping
Fuel Injectors(8)
ECU to handle boost and timing
400RWHP

How much would you pay for something like that?

I placed my vote.

As for the exhaust, I don't think it should be added... some of us have aftermarket headers that change the location of the catalytic converters. Also, some people may want to have a different exhaust setup than what is presented with the package.

I agree. Exhaust should be left up to the individual. Besides, most have already done some exhaust work by that time.

There have been problems with SC400s being higher power with the stock exhaust. The engine couldn't breathe enough. There are so few with custom headers and the ones that do have them probably will have the exact same headers I would use from Australia. I think I will do it without the exhaust mods first anyway and see how it works. The car may not see the full 400RWHP since I do not want to go over 8.5lbs boost with stock compression.

I am going to build it up as much as possible myself and if I start scratching my head or don't have the tools available I am going send it to a shop. For the SC400 I am trying to make installation as painless as possible using as many Toyota parts as possible. Other than the injector install I am hoping to take it down to a 4 hour installation for someone who knows what they are doing.
