Are you sure about that? It definitely looks like a '95-'96 front bumper to me...That trademark front lower black grill is easy to distinguish.

I just love the fact that there are so very few of us in this forum that rock an SC with '97+ sides and rear with a pre '97 front bumper and oem lip painted to match.

I'll post pics of my setup on this thread much later when I have an actual computer to work with LOL!

I have not read this whole thread, but one question shouts blaringly at me...WHY??? I understand the Vertex bumper does not match, of course not. It is way too big, and low to match up the 97 + style. But then adding a pre-97 bumper to change one insult to another? Even when adding the pre-97 lip to the post 97 bumper, I do not find it very attractive....But that is my opinion. Sell your Vertex, find a 97 and be done with it....

how's the fitment on your vertex replica? I have a 97 front bumper and I've been looking for a more aggressive look but with a sense of subtleness like the one you have right now.

Fitment is okay, you can check it out in person, where are you located?

I agree. That Vertex on the stock 97+ sides/rear does look pretty hideous so I can understand wanting to replace it ASAP, but just save up until you have enough for a 97+ bumper. I can see putting 97+ sides/rear on a 92-96 car and it looks ok, but I'm sure many of the cars w/ that setup are probably just waiting for a 97+ front bumper.

It's all cool and all but I don't feel like paying $600 just to replace and paint a bumper. Just doesn't make any sense to me.
