anyways id say go na-t with 8psi the kit costs like 1750... its pretty easy to install minus the oil lines and the tuning the whole set up wud probably be like 1750 for the kit + 400 for aem fic+ 300 for down pipe & FMIC pipiping + 400 for tuning= about $2850....just have $3200 to be safe and there you go you have 300rwhp at 8psi w/o having to change out the head gasket or studs

thats expensive... if u do the 1jz swap itll only cost 1.4k for the long block, 100 for the walbro fuel pump, depends on the boost controller u want and 300 for fuel controller so should be around $2500 just incase for the mounts and other lil things, raise the boost to 15lbs, should be well over 300hp

is this suppose to be making fun of the 1jz? if so i dont think u should b in this forum... and dont deserve to drive a toyota/lexus...
but back to the subject.... either an na-t or a 1jz set up will run about the same imo, if ur current motor is high milage id suggest doing a swap, if its in good condition then go na-t

Just cause you 1jz guys wanna justify swapping in a smaller displacement engine doesn't make me any less of a Lexus/Sc300 owner
<=== will always hate on the 1jz lawl.

I've owned a S13 Sr20 Black top with too many goodies to list! and s14 Kade intake, headers and custom exhaust. I now own a sc300 with a 1jzgtte swap with just a intake and stock turbos, so let me tell you something , no matter how much money I dumped into the SR20 it still does not not give the power I get out of a 1jz! Just because the block is bigger does not mean that it's better, CASE IN POINT SR20 VS. KADE why get a 2.0 when the 240sx comes with a 2.4 or 2.5?
