Default Location of keyless remote module?

Hey everybody,
My dealer had to order me a second key for my '92 SC400, but when it arrived, I was informed that the keyless remote wouldn't work because it wasn't paired with the receiver. The chip in the first key is damaged, so I only care about this second key/receiver. He said he didn't know how to install the new receiver (which he gave me), but his contact at Lexus said it's just a simple swap. It looks simple enough, but I can't find the old one to save my life! I was told it was in the back seat, but still can't find it.
Any clues??? Thanks.

you have to remove the rear seats, and it should be in the passenger side panel under the window.

Aargh! I just spent the past 30 minutes trying to follow your advice, but I don't see any way to get the rear seat off. Can you steer me in the right direction?
The only possibility I see is a small pin on either side of the gas tank while coming in through the trunk, but I can't budge the pins.
Thanks for the help so far.

no no, don't go through the trunk, go through the front cabin. if you want, go to "rear seat removal" in the search option. that does wonders! if you need anything else , just let me know.

Do-luck SC, you're a genius! I got the seat bottom off, but it will be a week or two before I get back home with my tools in order to remove the seat back. I'm sure I'll be able to take it from there, following the directions I found on the "rear seat removal" search (there were photos & diagrams & everything!)
Thanks from the newbie!

How much did the new transmitter cost you because I fell on mine this pass winter. and it does not work so I was thinking of ordering a new remote. And how did you get the new remote to work with the receiver?
