Need opinions on new seat color
I found an auto upholstery shop in Reseda that will do my two front seats like this. Rather than black, brown inserts matching the interior trim would look better- right? Also, it gets very hot in SoCal in the summer.

hey
i hate to play devil's avocado here
but HOW OLD ARE YOU GUYS
cos i'm 24.. and maybe with age comes class, but damn... in MY opinion, that looks god awful..
that's synonymous with fake gucci visor hats from the 1990's. it just looks so nasty! i mean... honestly you look at that n think "man that looks great on the shop floor"
put it in your car, then bammo! instant devalue... sorry to rag... i am... but that just looks so "aftermarket" why is it that when people get upholstery done they go for baby blue vinyl with teal inserts or some garbage, WHY.
why can't people just get some FRESH embossed leather which ties in with the rest of the car...
or maybe youhave donethe two tone interior convert? if so... keep in mind... less is more... i've seen some of you guys do that and i think "wow that looks really classy" but then next person i see doing it goes TOO FAR
learn when to say "enough is enough" there's a fine line between class and making it look like you are a 17 year old that inherited the car from your parents and wanted to waste some money!
EDIT: and that lexus symbol!!!! looks so out of place!!!
sorry... keep my opinion to myself... i know..
but this is the problem with society! people say "hey what do you think of this turd, should i install it into my dashboard?"
and because everyone either has no clue or they're too scared to bruise feelings they reinforce people and become enablers... i duno, it just looks really childish!

Thanks for the input.
On second thought it does look overdone. I like the idea of the brown in the two panels surrounded by the tan and keeping the headrest tan. Also doing the E brake boot and console cover, all in the brown that matches the steering wheel and dash and other trim to tie everything together. Undecided about the logo.
$600 in vinyl. They do all the work. I drop off the car. They R & R the seats. Leather would be more than I care to spend. I've seen other work in their shop and it looks nice. I'll post photos when its done.
About my age - 71 and remembering when I drove fast in some very fast cars. Freeway Flyer ring any bells?
