what if 10k is cheap for him? would that get your reliable? any who...

For 3.5k for a R154 swap and turbo kit is going to be hard. You might be able to piece something, but it's going to be hard to do. Mostly if you are paying for labor then the r154 might take up the 3.5k depending if you rebuild it and clutch you get.

TLDriver...what if 10k is cheap for him? would that get your reliable?

absolutely but if 10k is cheap for him then maybe he should upgrade his car.... if i had 10k to jsut throw at a motor and be like"ehhh it was cheap" i probably would not be driving a sc....

I think he meant 3.5k AFTER the R154, just based on how I read it...

For that price you could get a pretty decent used kit, or piece one together bit by bit.

without a rebuild and ultimately a big expense, i think the cheapest way to boost would be a factory turbo setup. but that really isn't cheap either.

gotta pay to play.

3.5k AFTER r154 swap power goals are 320. well someone on every forum tells everyone the same thing cheap, fast, reliable. you can only pick two. i'm choosing cheap and reliable just to see what i can get and i've heard some nasty things from the xspower turbo kit turbos, and wastegates. and i'm doing the labor myself
