Default Gauge cluster fried?

this is a 2 stage failure i think...

stage 1 = when I turn my headlights on the cluster goes dark.

2 weeks later

stage 2 = the whole cluster doesnt work EXCEPT the airbag light, the brake light and thecruise control light...

is it fried?

I didnt unplug it or anything and everything looks normal.
