What year SC3 do you suggest?

if your looking for auto then 97-00, if manual 95-97

Of course it's best to get 98-00, but if you're just gonna get rid of the motor then I don't think it even matters what year you get. Just make sure you find a clean SC.

Driving a high mile '94, and dealing with cluster needles, window regs, door lock actuators, broken door panels, cloudy headlights, etc., I say go with the newer 00. You can concentrate on the swap, instead of on the irritating signs of age.

everyones missing the point. hes doing a swap with a piggyback comp. obd1 is where its at.

if u said u were gunna get another sc to turn into a show car then by all means get a new one. everyone knows the older models are easier to deal with for swaps.

and i would get the sc400. u can still use the rear end on it and they are a dime a dozen. more available around me then the 300's
