There's probably a dozen threads about this car in the Lobby already, but I dunno. I think it's waaaay too contemporary-looking for my tastes. FYI, it rolls on 22"s, 500bhps NA mid-engine, titanium chasis, and cooks your dinner for you.

Apparently Lexus thinks very highly of it,, considering that it is the first that will pop up on the homepage (www.lexus.com). I can't imagine why they didn't just use a jade green 93 SC300 in minority report tho

I really like my 1992 Soarer, it's got style & elegance, it's the forunner for many other sports coupe designs like the XK8, DB8 & several others, it was so ******* good they sold it right up to 2001, then they gave us the SC430 a technologically advanced, upside down rowing boat which I personally think is BFU.
Now we come to the Lexus concept as depicted above, the look on that kids face says it all "what the **** is that?" I will replace my Soarer as it wont last forever and it will be with the 2001 VVTi model.
I used to think I liked my cars, but only when I got the Soarer TT did I really appreciate what I had been missing, if I had the money tomorrow I would rush out and buy an Aston Vanquish - to use on Sundays.

Lexus Test Driver

I saw the little video commercial at the lexus website thingy and yes, it describes it as a 500hp mid mounted engine, it sounded bad *** in the video, yet, I went to see the movie and it's an electric car!!!, very quiet outside!!... hummmmmmm could this be a hint of what's coming up, just the engine/chasis config?? remember toyota wants to make a mid mounted engine sports car if they start winning on the F1 races...

Saw it on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. It is not very practical. It is so hard to get iin and so uncomfortable. You could get injured just trying to put the seatbelt on. It is mostly just aesthetics I think. It is a concept car. Don't know much about the engine excpet it is electric. Coming soon to a dealer to you in 52 years.

If you have ever read the specs on that car, it's an EV with a top speed of less than 100MPH. I have to admit, it is a very cool looking car, all they have to do now is make it go faster.

I think that is the nicest looking lexus I've ever seen. But I wouldn't drive it if it had an electric engine. So, I hope that this car is a preview of what we can expect from lexus in the future.
