So I did a search and I've talked to a few people and no one has any idea wsup with my windows. Anyway 2 days ago, I was driving with my windows down and all of a sudden they wouldn't go back up. I got a bit worried considering I didn't want to be stuck in a public place w/ my windows open so I went home and upon going home I opened my passenger side door and low and behold...the windows worked again! but once I closed the passenger side door, the windows would just stop working all together.
I'm SOOOO confused...haha, I feel like my car is haunted. I picked it up a few months ago with an after-market alarm with clutch bypass and autostart already installed, so I figured that MIGHT be the reasoning behind it, but I took it to audio shop today and they told me that its the car itself, not the alarm...so now I'm really confused. I'm taking it into my mechanic to have it diagnosed tomorrow, but until then, any help or advice would be awesome
I've never encountered this before, so in order for me to open or close my windows i have to crack open the passenger side door, its not too bad but pretty inconvenient to say the least, help a confused brotha out
sorry don't mean to thread jack...!! but my windows been acting funny to but now they don't go down at all and when i press the button it makes a little buzz sound like it's a power shortage or something blocked. any feed back?

If you mean the actually motor then that could be true because it was kind of slow. but on the other hand i got another one from the junk yard and the motor doesn't even move it just does the same thing. so any other ideas anyone?
naw, it was the ground wire. I was able to enjoy my windows for 3 days before the passenger side decided to die on me today lol. I'm going to fix it this week
