I'm not sure what all goes into putting a 1/2jz into a sc400, I know the 1jz to sc300 is a direct swap, but the 400 I believe requires different motor mounts, I'll do some searching to see if I can't find out what exactly needed. I'd love to come down and help you out with it if you need it, I've been thinking about getting a 1jz that's forsale over in logansville and dropping it into this 400 I picked up a couple weeks ago.

You need to sell your 400 and grab a 300 or spend a **** ton of money. You need wiring, Engine management, Cross members, New cluster, motor and transmission mounts, and much much more. You can get 300 for the same price as modding your 400 to take a 2jz. Your best bet is to man up and build a sick 1uz.

Wow wow wrong info there both Scs uses the same cross member. You need the same motor mounts as if you are doin the swap in the SC3
You will need some new mounts, new radiator, nothing major no worries .
The wiring is not bad either if you are familiar with the engine and wiring.
I wouldn't sell it if it's a nice car keep it an do the swap. GL
