Default New Here!

Hey Everyone!
My name is Tj!

I just bought a 93' sc400,
I sold my Nissan 240sx drift car for something
different that I could work on as a long term project,

I must say this is an extremely relaxing car to be in,
its so nice I love every bit of it, and the V8 is pretty
torquey! Anyways, im excited to work on it and show updates
and what have you, Im also on DetailingBliss.com if anyone else
is on there.

Btw, I ordered coil overs, and exhaust tips? I want to get the tanabe
system, anyone else use it? And I tried searching the forums for getting into
the gauge cluster, I couldnt find anything, im sorry, any help? my speedo needle dosent work, I have a new one, just need to get in there, im guessing
the two plastic clip things up top of the cluster dash?

thanks!

-Tj

Welcome! And for the cluster, just lower your steering wheel all the way, and use a small screwdriver or knife to pop out the two plastic covers, then there are screws underneath. I'm not exactly sure how to dismantle the whole cluster, but there are some screws on the back, and probably a bunch more underneath.

And post pics!

2ndgen300 I ordered Tein Coilovers, Im excited for them, as for my old 240,
I had a 98 sr20det black top swap w/s15 turbo and manifold welded, no leaks, I also had Tein coil overs, uhhh, I had some huge chevy truck radiator and cooling fan, greddy fmi, greddy bov, a lot of hks tubing and piping, nissan gtr drivers and passenger seats, a lot of jdm stuff on there, especially bushings and little suspension stuff. Thats it, it was fun, but EVERYONE has a 240sx you know?

anyone from philly?!?!

Default Cluster removal

Go to the DIY sticky at the top of this forum. Search down till you find a post by THE MOLE. Look in the list for console cluster removal. Its not hard to do. Sometimes its hard to unplug some of the connectors (4). Good luck.
