This was on fleebay. Seller's description below.... Thought it was good but the gear is way too high of a jump for me from 3.26 to 4.08. I've read that VVTI becomes useless if I go anything higher than 3.76.

93-98 MK4 Supra Turbo, Rear End, 4.08 Differential, LSD

Up for sale is a 94 Toyota Supra Turbo (Mk4) differential. This unit fits 93-98 supras, Lexus SC300 and NA MK4 Supra vehicles. This rear end is bulletproof!! LSD is in great shape.

The gears inside are 4.08 and are new. This unit is complete. The 4.08 gears replaced the OEM gears for improved acceleration. There was no damage to this unit.

These gears are new from Toyota. Unit was a 3.73 from factory

When the gears were replaced new seals, bearing and all needed parts were replaced.

New price from the dealer is $3200. These are rare and hard to find!!

thats BS. the gears dont make the vvt-i useless! cino21 here in north texas has 4.27 LSD in his 98sc400. I raced him. I still beat him but, its quick. I think that is to low a gear IMO but it still works good. I think the most important thing is the LSD, you can find what ever gear your looking for if you look hard enough. Id give $400-500.00. LSD's alone new cost 800.00 +

Thanks buddy (spdrcr771).... I know we exchanged PMs about this a while back and you mentioned something about the VVTI. I'll look through the PM and will forward it back to you. The guy had it for auction for $650 plus $95 shipping cost. Nobody bid on it and the auction already ended.... I did want it for the LSD. Could I simply take the LSD off and put it on my stock pumpkin on my 99 sc4?
