whats up everyone im new here and to the hole lexus scene.. im from DElaware and was into the honda scene for a while until i saw a buddie of mines sc 300 and made me realize that i can make tons of power out of these cars for not to much money and still roll around with heated seats in a once 30k+ dollar car lol and the best part is i live a mile away First State Motorsports witch produces some of the baddest sc's around. So listen to this ****.. i was lookin for an sc3 for like 6 months but didnt wanna spend a ton of money and it had to be a 5speed, so i finally think i found one in greensboro nc, at a dealer ship and it just so happen that my boy and his wife were moving to nc the same week so they offerd to drive me and another buddie of mine. well the guy said the car ran great but when i get there the car wouldnt even idle. so i mess with it for a while and he has his mech working on it also... now realize this is our only ride home. so after like 3 hours the car still was acting up and the mech said it need a bunch of little **** to run right. well the dealer didnt wanna come down off of the 2500 dollar price and said that he would fix it but it wouldnt be ready till later on in the week and this is 2 saterdays ago and i had to be home by monday night. so i said f it and told the dude off for saying the car ran great and he knew i was driving down there and was expecting to drive the sc home but whatever you learn from your mistakes. so me and my boy end up staying in this bad *** hotel in downtown greensboro and just kicked if at the bar sat night thinking of how we were supposed to get home train plain or bus lol and we chose the bus like iddiots, so we left sunday night and took us 15hours to get back to DE witch really only shoulda took 8hrs but o well.. so i get home after a rough weekend and get back on craigslist to see if sc's popped up over the weekend and boom right on the top of the first page i look on. 92 sc300 runs great brandnew clutch ice cold ac, heated seats,car phone lol and is in overall ok condition and the best part was its only 20 mins away lol so i went and looked at it and it needs a little tcl body and interior wise but it wasnt too bad and i figured i have been looking for one of these for a while now so i might as well just grab it even tho it needs some cosmetic work.. so i ended up talking the guys down from 2500 to 2000 bucks and bought it!!! sorry for such a long and boring story buy just wanted to break the ice on the first post thing and say whats up.

But yeah, Get ready to shell out some big bucks to properly maintain your SC, This isn't like a Honda, where parts are cheap and easy to obtain.

I came from the honda scene also. Parts a ***** to find for this car lol but its worth it. Have fun.
