Thanks guys. Its something ive been meaning to do for a while.
The motor ran great before, but it had typical leaks of an older motor.

About the AIT sensor the only solution is FFIM that's the next thing on my list, i will just bite the bullet and get one of those.
I wish you were there when we pulled the motor out so you could take some pics of the engine bay and the engine b4 they got clean!!!

This one aint going nowhere if i sell it i am getting out of the GS/SC/Supra world and i will just buy a civic haha.
Lol, nah man I didn't get any pics of the mounts, maybe i can snap one now somehow.
I wish i got the before of the bay too, It was so dirty from the oil leaks and the wastegate.
yeah, im thinking theres no way to avoid FFIM now, its just so much better.
I ordered the puller fans for the intercooler so Ill see what that does.

Props for that... that takes determination!
Come to NY, i'll have beer on ice waiting for you guys.

Yeah, I think it took like 22 hours, 20 if you take the time out for the rain.
Would have probably taken me weeks by myself.

BTW, I'm curious if you did a compression check before and after the TT HG. I'd really like to know how much change you saw.
Nope, never did it but I can tell you that I definitely feel the difference.
It pulls less vac at idle (.5-1psi less) and seems to goes quicker into boost.
The power out of boost is a little less, but it runs much smoother now.

Thanks, we have a lot of 2jz love up here in NELOC.

there is almost no engine vibration whatsoever now. I have the Act extreme PP and 6puck sprung clutch and with my old mounts if you tried to slip it, everything would chatter and start to shake a little bit.
With the TT mounts I can slip on the clutch with no vibration/ back and forth rocking. I am concerned though all this stress is going straight to the open diff. we will see how long that lasts.

I understand what you're saying but we were onna do it in the garage but it was hot as hell that day and it's a 1car garage with a couple of engines sleeping in there so we decided to Do it outside.
We washed and blow dryed the parts with the air compressor , so no worries .Yeah i made sure all the parts got cleaned up.

We started around 11am ,6pm it started to rain at 8pm we started to put engine back together and got done at 6am in the morning

wow nice quick work as usual by the bart and omar tandem! Omar is the main surgeon with smaller hands, he sneaks in there whenever bart's big hands can't fit in tight spaces..Bart is the breaker bar brawler, nothing is too tight for this man! Great job! Wanted to stop by there last weekend just to bring pizza and beer but didn't like the idea of ticks attacking me again so just chilled at home lol.
