I have a 93 SC300 and wanted to put those tape adapters to play my ipod but only one side of the speakers, which I believe is the drivers side. Can somebody tell me whether it is my stock radio or something else? I was planning on just getting another stock radio and try it out. I dont wanna install an aftermarket one. So please, any ideas would help. Thanks

take a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol and clean the metal prongs (cant think of the damn name right now) inside the deck that touch the tape. They tend to get dirty and if the tape is kind of old then get a new tape.

i do have the cig transmitter for the ipod. thats what i am using right now. with the tape adapter my friend knows how to trace the wire behind the radio and to go through the center console which looks much cleaner then the cig transmitter. Besides, with the cig transmitter, you gotta get a good reception.
