Default 2500 bucks to bliss - my plan

The rims I want are about 850 delivered for 17's. I don't want to go bigger than that. 17 is fine for me.

300 for headlights and high beams.

250 for springs
280 for shocks
100 for install

300 for double din GPS
50 for install

300 for exhaust
50 for install

Give or take on the prices. That's just what I've fleshed out thus far.

I think at that point I'd have my 300 exactly where I want. Maybe a clutch too. So maybe 3k total.

I need another job or to sell my house or sell my family. Anyone interested in a slightly used wife and a very very active and rambunctious 4 year old?

Sounds like a good start man... although you could almost get a set of used coilovers for a little more than what you are paying for S/S.

We would need pics of wife and 4-year old for verification purposes JK man.

Enjoy the car, although you will probably end up adding a turbo before the year is out

I've got a line on a relatively cheap JDM 1JZ TT. But I don't need to make huge horsepower yet. BFI and exhaust and maybe headers I think should get me enough gains to be satisfied in the short term.

I'm not looking to autocross or anything. I like that i can already beat most riced crap out there.

I want a really nice looking great cornering stick shift coupe that's got some cache value in addition to being fun to drive. I love my little mods thus far.

Wheels is the big thing. It's hard to slash out 850-900 bucks from the budget for my third vehicle, especially in the summer when I've got a million projects going around the house.

you could save 200$ by doing it yourself.

I figure my time is worth about 50 bucks an hour (conservatively) and being a neophyte without a lot of car tools, It'll take me a long time and I'm likely to make mistakes the first time through even if I'm careful.

I'll do some small stuff, but I get my main stuff done by ASE mechanics.

Installing suspension is a LOT easier than you think!

I'll post up a DIY later once im on my laptop. Shouldn't take more than a day, it was the first big thing me and my friend did besides oil changes. Now we can swap suspension probably 30 min a side now

A spring compressor isnt even needed. I did all my suspension bare handed with basic tools.

.............

I see issues, and have highlighted them in red for you.

Explanation:

headlights- whats wrong with your OEM headlamps that your willing to spend $300 to replace them (please dont go with ebay garbage)

Install fees:

Do the installs of all the above on your own and you save $200 (est.). Yes you will get your hands dirty, but you learn about your car, you get to inspect the specific areas where those items will be installed for any flaws, and you have an extra $200 (approx) to spend towards coilovers rather than shocks and springs..and with 17's (trust me on this) you will love the ability to lower the car more to fill the fender gaps.

I don't know where you get yor prices from, but you can't get a double din gps for nowhere near that ammount unless you buy everything used even then you're smoking.
