salvage car is a salvage car. Not worth it

If someone hit you again from the rear then gg

I would get it and swap everything over to a better SC

I would not pay more then 4k. Due to it being SALVAGE. That realy decreases the value tremendously.

Yeah I wouldn't buy it but he could probably sell it for 4500-5000 to a sucker. Salvage title hurts. I'd only buy it if it was a track car.

it was salvaged because the previous owner got hit in the driverside fender, breaking the upper control arm. all that was replaced (i found one the same color at the junk yard) , even the upper frame where the fender bolts on was good.

salvage title= -$1000
untuned/no fuel controller= -$500
5/10 condition= -$1000

base that on an average of $5-6k, you get $3500(approx). but with the title, and buckled hood, previous broken UCA, I would offer $3k maximum...

get the title fixed

Keep in mind when buying a salvage titled car, you will need to pay extra for additional GAP coverage on your insurance policy for it to be completely covered.

I've had two friends get the shaft and no money from the insurance company when they wrecked their salvage title cars without GAP coverage. One of them is STILL having to make payments on $9,000 leftover from the car loan he had on a salavage titled mustang he wrecked almost two years ago.

$2,500 max. It sounds like a big piece of junk with fancy parts.

3k just because of the swap and extra parts. I would chuck the car after stripping it of anything worth saving.

GAP insurance is only if you have a loan or lease on the vehicle. I'd find it difficult to believe ANY lender in todays economic climate would loan money on a car with a salvage title especially a 94
