I got cheap seat covers - and I like them
So my leather is shot. And I looked at all the various options. I kept telling myself that I was gonna get the leather covers that are decent quality for like 175-200 on Ebay. Front and back, leather for 200 sounded OK. But finally I couldn't stand it anymore and I got some relatively cheap (30 bucks) seat covers and I love them. Black. Inspired me to paint my interior black and probably a dark grey.
I was stupid for waiting so long.

Pics?
I had my leather restored but I wouldn't mind seat covers myself. There's just so many stupid ones for sale it's hard to find decent ones at a decent price.

Overall leather is overrated anyway.
I'll see if I can't get some pics. Maybe after I paint some of my interior black. I'm gonna do the door panels tonight I think. I'm scared of taking them off though.

Why, whatever do you mean? It's hot in the summer, cold in the winter, costs more, and requires maintenance or it looks like ****.
I was dinking around with the "build your own car" feature on a couple of websites and the models with performance parts and bigger engines force you to get stuck with leather, which pisses me off to no end.
I couldn't agree with you more.

Im too fond of those type seats either. They are too stiff and uncomfortable for long drives/trips. No offense. Just NOT my style.
I would spend the extra $$$ or keep saving and get reliable well made leatherseats.com ones, or repair what you have and paint them with SEM.
