may OLT can chime in but when I calibrated mine I made sure that both needles were at zero when the key is set to on but with the engine off. with the key out setting it to zero didnt work for me because they actually move up to zero when you put the key in.

thats exactly what im facing... at zero it reads faster then you actually are, and the rpms are higher
