I have asked a few people that have bought those wood trim kits that are always for sale on ebay on what they thought about them -
For the most part, I understand the part that covers the radio acutally is not fitted well; it covers the radio control labels in some spots. The other pieces fit like they should. I have not seen a 'stick-on' wood kit that is an exact match to our bird's eye maple wood trim. It is usally lighter, or darker. And the kits add a hefty layer of epoxy finish on them, so it often looks more plastic looking than the original wood in our cars.
Attached is a pic of an ebay kit ....

I bought a similar kit for my SC last month.
Overall I like the tone, color, and grain of the wood. Very good match. However, all of these kits are GLOSSY and make the OEM pieces look faded and dull (which they are supposed to be)
SkiNinja is correct, the radio piece looks like junk. I didn't put that on or the AC/Heat piece on because it covered the labels for the cd/tape controls.
The rest of the kit fits. However, the cup holder (rear) cover piece seems short by abot 4mm on each side and the window switch plate covers are a bit short.
The shift plate cover fit perfectly however when seated at my normal super reclined SC drving position, the tranny lights are not visible.
I spent $100 on the kit, and am pretty happy with the look.
Only word of warning, do not use the 3m plastic prep packet that they send, just use a suffcient amount of alcohol prep pads to clean it. The 3m adhesive activator actually ruins the black plastic and makes a mess of the whole project.

Yeah I bought one of those kits too, ended up only putting pieces over the ashtray and shifter section, sold the rest.
I mean if you have never been in a car with wood trim, you prob. wouldnt know what fake is and wouldnt think anything of it, but it certainly doesnt fit the rest of the wood.
