First I did the driver's side door. Went well. Had a little trouble finding the hidden compartment where the last screw is, but once I found it, it came off easy and was painted no problem. Nice flat black paint I got. Figured, the rest should be cake.
Well I couldn't find the exact same kind of paint again because I bought my first test can from a place like 30 minutes away. I've been through like 5 different kinds of paint because stupid idiots at the auto parts store have no idea WTF they are recommending. Now my passenger side is done in bright glossy black while my driver's side is flat black. I'm going to have to remove them both and redo them.
I took off the center bezel piece, which isn't that hard actually, but it's not liking the crap paint I have either.
So, in summary, don't start this without buying 8 cans of good paint which you've pre-tested and will adhere to all surfaces inside the car.
BTW, does anyone have a good recommendation on paint? I'm supposed to be finally getting my staggered wheels this week and I might blow my budget on stupid paint.
I'll say this though, the parts that came out right with the flat black. . . . they looked awesome and made it worthwhile. Well Kinda.
