It's too bad that the 92-94 lights cant be upgraded to the 95-96 tail lights without the hyperblinkers and blown bulb indicator in the dash.

I have the 95-96 tail lights (on my 96 car) and have the orange "one of your lights is out" light on. I have replaced every single lightbulb in the back and that stupid light is still on.

Hopefully one of these days I will perform some needle mods courtesy of OLT's helpful sticky and then just take that stupid light out. How hard is it to just look back there once in a blue moon anyway?

(I'm just mad because my light is on the fritz)

You may want to check your brake light bulb.

I have a pair of 96 taillights on my car. I simply swapped the entire housing and harness with my older ones, no sweat.

I first started off the car and turned on the lights. Cool. No warning light whatsoever no matter how long I leave the lights on. However, as soon as I shift out of P, I get this orange gay light.

I didn't understand this at first but I soon figured out that in order to shift out of P, I had to step on the brake.

I had someone look behind and low and behold, one of my brake lights is indeed, out.

I am too lazy to change the light bulb for now.

i'm planning on clearing out the bottoms of my 95-96 lights on my sc, and using led bulbs that light up red for the lights that come on when you hit the brake. So it will be clear, then when you brake, it will light up red ( a la the new rx330). What do yall think?
