Default Goodbye SC community! 1996 SC300 5-spd w/79k gone!

Just wanted to say goodbye to all the friends I have made on here over the years. I know most probably arent around anymore either, but...

Its been a lot of fun, but it was just time to move on from the SC300. The failed NA-T project was the last straw and I just got tired of working on a 14 year old car. I traded it in towards a 2010 Ford F-150 FX2 SuperCrew. Its a REALLY nice truck and I am really happy with it.

For anyone interested, I traded in my SC to the Mall of Georgia Ford in Buford, GA. It was a 1996 Renaissance Red, 5-speed manual, 79k miles with Supra TT brakes, Supra TT polished wheels, Supra auto TT LSD (full diff swap!), Supra rear sway bar, and 97+ tail lights. If anyone is interested in going after it for a purchase, please just PM me so I can tell you how much they gave me for it. i gave them a good deal on it, so someone else here should be able to get a steal on it as well. The upgrades alone are worth some serious cash. (note to self, dont ever throw away stock parts again...I couldnt part anything out!)

Wow... kinda sucks that you traded it..Buy why goodbye? You've been a member here for so long, and just like you said, you've made some friends here.
No reason to leave. I sold my WRX about 4 years ago, but I'm still active on the forums I joined for it...

Dang matt that sucks, It was nice meeting you picking up the seats, I remember how clean your low mileage SC was..

I'm trying to hold onto to my SC since it's paid for and all, but living the family life now it's hard for me to get time and money to put into it, so i know how you feel..

Sometimes something more practical just makes life easier..

You'll probably come back one day with another swapped SC I'm running a NA-T setup now and appreciate NA-T setups alot more, but in the end, I would rather have a GTE swap like my first SC.. just easier imo

Sometimes it's better to move on

But it's okay. That badass truck is a nice upgrade. I would have done the same

GL, sorry to see you go. I cant belive you traded it with all those mods, somthing tells me it wont even make it on the lot for sale, there is probally a internal battle for it at the dealership.

Actually, I just saw the car made it to Autotrader....doesnt look like the dealership I sold it to, though. They're asking almost twice what I was given as a trade-in value, FYI to anyone who's looking I can give you some negotiating ammo.

Yeah, I would have preferred to have sold it to someone as an NA-T ready car, or parted out more mods. But I just didnt have the time, I had an intrest rate deal on a new vehicle loan I had to close on by the end of June.
