Hello i have a 95 sc300 that i picked up not to long ago. When i was original looking for a sc i want the 400 but none was near me. i like the 2jzgte but i love that v8 sound.

I want to know with the experience the people in this forum have, can i put a 1uzfe in my SC300 with ease and what is required to do the job? pardon my ignorance.

I've never seen someone ask this question before. I've seen SC400's with 1JZ's or 2JZ's dropped in, but never the other way around. I would imagine that it wouldn't be any harder than a regular 1JZ or 2JZ swap. Hopefully someone can give some input on this.

shouldnt be ahrd, u could prabably find everythnig at the junkyard but id look into trading for a 400 first go find a 400 owne

Yea definatly would be easier to trade for a 400. I'm sure there are some ppl on this forum that would do that in a heartbeat..

Putting an 1UZ into an sc3 would be kind of redundant in a sense. It'd be better to just trade your sc3 for an sc4. If you are dead in love with your current ride and just a V8 in it..dont bother with a 1UZ, and go for an LS swap. Just my 2 cents.

If you are bothering with a swap, make it worth while and do a 1/2 JZ or LS. Goodluck!

you need the sc400 crossmember ... motor ,trans, ecu, and some others. thats pretty much thats it ... lol i have all those parts around because in trying to do a 2jzgte swap in to my sc4

I agree with the people who recommended to simply trade for SC 400. NJ should have a few (autorader.com lists 19 within 200mi of Trenton).
